Think and Grow Rich Book Summary:

When Napoleon Hill was a young man, steel magnate Andrew Carnegie , Hill claimed, introduced him to the secret to which he owed his fortune. As a result, Carnegie, who was one of the richest people in the world at the time, is said to have commissioned Napoleon Hill to examine the successful methods of around 500 millionaires and to derive a common philosophy of success from them.

In more than 20 years of work and numerous interviews, Hill claims to have discovered the secret of success: This includes the right instructions to the subconscious, unshakable belief in yourself and, last but not least, perseverance and determination.

However, the collaboration between Napoleon Hill and Andrew Carnegie is not documented. The historian David Nasaw, who published a comprehensive biography of Andrew Carnegie in 2008  , did not find any documents in his research that prove a cooperation with Napoleon Hill.

The two may even have never met, and the success stories cited were Napoleon Hill's inventions to better market himself and his books. Also for the published by the Napoleon Hill Foundation claim that the book was advertised by Mahatma Gandhi and distributed in large numbers in India , there is no evidence.

Think and Grow Rich Book Review:

The basic idea behind "Think and grow rich" is the assumption that the acquisition of material wealth can be controlled directly and purposefully through the right thoughts. Napoleon Hill names 13 "laws of success" in his book. Through 6 practical, precisely specified steps, the reader should automatically attain wealth. With this message, Napoleon Hill can be considered a pioneer and pioneer of internationally renowned success coaches.

The concepts of Tony Robbins , Bodo Schäfer and others were decisively shaped by "think and grow rich". Also the commercially highly successful film "The Secret" about the "Law of Attraction" and the book of the same name by the Australian author Rhonda Byrneare inspired by Napoleon Hill.
